Sewing is one of the important processes in bed-linen making. Most of such industrial sewing is done by industrial sewing machines under the supervision of well trained technicians.
There are a total of 200 sewing machines which are arranged as a vertical line to assemble the pieces of the product. checks and controls to assure compliance with the quality parameters of all products for direct or indirect exports.
Amko has a strong support for women employment by providing vocational training, through which most of the women are employed in their own stitching unit. Amko has a custom made stitching unit where each operation from tailoring to supervision is handled by women.
